How to Write Out of The Box

"Writing is easy. All you have to do is cross out the wrong words." Mark Twain said.
On my writing journey, i have met and got in touch with people that are writers or readers, or readers that want to be a writer. What i highlight from my most conversation with them is many people around really find it interesting to write, they have tons of ideas and creativity to mix and innovate stories through words, but they just seem to have no idea HOW. They trouble on how to write grammatically right, and anxious to continue their writings because they fear their writings will be such a bore to people who read it.
Trust me, i have been through a lot of those anxiousness before my first novel was published.
Those questions somehow leave you in despair, and you end up writing nothing at all and instead only dreaming and dreaming about those ideas and stories in your head.
That's what i want to elaborate in my new post here. I am going to tell you how to write out of the box based on my point of view and my experience. Let's see what i can do to drag you out from your anxiety.
So first let's jump out to :
HOW TO WRITE PROPERLY?

Simple, but critical question. Assuming you have lot of ideas waiting to pour them all into writings, but you don't have any idea how to grammatically and editorially correct to pour it all in to words. So, here are those tips :

1. Read as many as you can
Quoting the quote i quoted my self, "A good writer is a good reader", means the only exact way to learn writing is to read as many as you can. Choose the book based on the genre of your writings. If you are interested in mainstream fiction romance writings, then you will have to collect and read books in kind. By reading, you will get a lot of advantages. You'll get to know how to write well-plotted, so your story will be organized and the readers will comfortly follow your plots. And again, you'll find yourself dealing with new words and vocabs, this will help you to manage your writings from monotonic sentence and ambiguous meanings. In conclusion, reading helps you a lot to become a professional writer.

2. Practice as many as you can
Practicing, the key to expert something. In this case, yes - practicing does really matter! Get yourself used to write one or two pages a day, without considering if it's a nice writings or not. If you get yourself practiced every single day organizedly, your writings will be better itself. Practicing means you advance yourself with the rhythmic of words and mixing them into sentences, so as time gets by you will expert yourself to write properly. My editor once said it's better to write badly each day than never writing at all. If you think you're capable enough and too lazy to start writing every day, i don't guarantee you'll get better in any how.

Yes, so the answer of How to Write Properly is to read and to practice. If you are doing this during times, your fears will evaporate fast. After that, the only thing you have to concern is how to write creatively. That's the main points to which i have been bringing you all away.

HOW TO WRITE OUT OF THE BOX?

These tricks and tips below are based on my experience and usual habits before i write, so sometimes people have a different way to earn ideas and to think out of the box. But, the difference won't be too far in every person, so here are those ways :

1.Seek for inspirations
If i happen to face writer's block, i will stop my writing for short times and start to wander around to get some inspirations. If you don't know or have not heard about writer's block, it is some kind of out-of-ideas problem troubling writers. Usually, i lost my interest on my writings because i start losing ideas or i feel that my plots are boring. To overcome this, i sometimes wander around to mingling with people, in order to get inspirations. This really works for me, rather than staying at home and staring at my laptop screen thinking really hard to get some inspirations. By looking at people's activities, their way to act and respond to each other, or by occasionally event, i get my inspirations.

2. Generate your simplest ideas
Don't worry if you only have a tiny simple idea to base your fictional writings. In the other hand, it is the key to your story. What you've got to do is to develop and generate it. Simplest idea is better than nothing at all. You just need to develop the story and generate it to be more complex and unique. If you're confused on how to, you can get your inspirations by doing things that you usually do to get your inspirations. I am not going to explain how to get inspirations, because it is so specific per person. I'd bet you have your on way to get it.

3. Read much, see much, listen much
Read books as many as you can. See as many as you can. Listen as many as you can. Well, i apply this in reason to get inspired. By reading novels, by listening to songs, or by seeing things in different ways. Not quite often, i get inspirations while dreaming or before i go to sleep.

4. Based on your own experience
Sometimes, if you get your inspirations from reading a novel or watch a movie, the story you create will not far from those. Well, it could be bad for you because you'll be accused on duplicating or imitating. But, i can handle it by putting my own experience into the story. On my third novel, i got my inspirations from watching dramas, but then i realized that i also experience the exact same things with the dramas, so i decided to turn the dramas the way i experience it in reality. It made my story fresh and far free from imitating the former inspirations.
This is the most effective way to write out of the box. Because, people differ in their experiences, so your experience will be totally different from the others. It help you a lot to write uniquely

That's all four tips and tricks i can get you for how to write properly. It's actually rather difficult to talk about this, because usually people have very unique and distinct way to write or to get their inspirations. All the things i have elaborated above are based on my experience and my usual methods.

Now, if you master those tips and tricks, i'd bet you become a professional writer soon!
Writing is so easy, the only thing you've got to do is only start writing!
